Who is more powerul sorcorer, Shang Tsung or Quan Chi?
I think it's Shang Tsung, but I am not sure.
shareon the tv show, Shang Tsung was definately more powerful (although he did lose 1 fight to Quan Chi in the episode "Flawed Victory"). but its because Quan Chi resorted to using magic, while Shang Tsung only used his martail arts skills.
in the games, however, Quan Chi is more powerful. he easily defeats Shang Tsung when they turn on each other at the beginning of MK Deception.
Deception is after Deadly Alliance,right and Liu Kang is still dead, is he. I don't know how could they rid of the most powerful fighter and that by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi beat him up while Lie is more than capable of beting those two at the same time.
shareShang Tsung was the better martial artist between the two on the show. He was badass. As far as magic, Quan Chi had the edge.
shareI would agree that Shang is the better fighter. Shang learned the dark arts from Shao Khan while Quan Chi probably dabbled in all other sorts of sorcery. I would say they are almost equal but Shang is human and Quan is not.
shareI want to say Shang because Quan Chi had a weakness(cobalt)and Shang didnt.
