Wouldn't the Elder Gods have destroyed Shao Kahn's armies?

Wouldn't the Elder Gods have destroyed Shao Kahn's armies the minute they invaded Earthrealm?

One reason for the Elder Gods not taking immediate action was that in Mortal Kombat 2, it's revealed that Shao Kahn is the son of an Elder God.

The Elder Gods most likely would have stepped in had season 2 not been canceled.

Reboot, restart or re-imagining is another word for remake

I read that the new Mortal Kombat movie would conclude this show.Is that true? That would mean that the movie would continue from where "Vengeance" left off.

And off the topic...
What is the name of that hot actress that played the woman that Raiden was drinking with?

I'd love for there to be a conclusion to the show, I waited a decade for one, but I highly doubt it. It'll probably be remade because of the remake craze.

The woman Rayden was with is Suzzane Stokes.

Agreed, I have a feeling Kung, Taj, Siro, Kitana, Shang, everyone would be brought back by the elder gods somehow.

Deus ex machina.... If you want to call it that.

Quan Chi can't go out like that!!! Cobalt..... : (

If I remember right, they did start to write season 2 and the first bit was Kung Lao waking up and realising it was all a dream of them getting killed.

Totally agree that Quan Chi would never go out like that.

"But it happened at sea! See? C for Catwoman!!"

Well, I don't think it's the Elder Gods place to get involved that way.I don't think they have a particular allegiance to anyone. From what I understand, they created Mortal Kombat in order to prevent Kahn from invading all Willy-nilly.To give other realms the fighting chance they wouldn't have if it were an all out invasion.

If they were against Kahn, then they would have stopped his conquering directly, but they didn't.

That leads me to believe that they can't or won't directly interfere, or they don't have the power to actually defeat his forces.

I'm thinking if he were to break the rules of MK and attempt an invasion, they would intervene. Not exactly sure what the consequences would be.But, since Earth's champion, as well as it's guardian are dead, there is no one to fight in the next tournament. So maybe it was a fair/legal invasion.

I think the Elder Gods would have brought everyone back to life. And as punishment Shao Kahn would be forbidden from interfering in the Mortal Kombat tournament for the next 500 years.Basically he would become a spectator.

Shao Kahn would then give Shang Tsung a second chance and send him to find a champion for Outworld. After traveling to the Shokan home world,Shang Tsung recruits Goro to fight for Outworld.

And then Goro kills Kung Lao at the next tournament which is in 500 years.

You re a stupid ignorant do you realize this series is a prequel from the first two films so is conected with then if this would it be fair or legal invasion like you said than Raiden is the only hope to stop Kahn and he can't cause he lost his power thanks to Kahn emerging the earthrealm with outworld and he was a prisoner from Kahn in the end of the series and others like Kung Lao Taja and Siro and Omegis are completly dead so the Elder Gods are the only hope to bring back Earthrealm to normal and if it didn't happen then first two films never takes place cause Kung Lao is descendant of Liu Kang and he died in the end of the series also Shang Tsung Kitana and Reptile appears alive in the first two films and Raiden is not a Shao Kahn prisoner like the series and by away the Elder Gods interfered in the second Mortal Kombat film when Kahn broke the rules of MK and it was when Shinnok was about to kill Liu Kang and wheter you like it or not Kahn broke the rules of MK in the TV Show cause he cannot rule Earthrealm at less he win 10 victory of MK and he lost in the first episode in the match of Shang Tsung against Kung Lao and now he have to wait other 500 years for that happen so the fact that the Elder Gods didn't interfered at the moment when Kahn invaded the Earthreal in the final episode doesn't mean that they re not going to interfer and stop what Kahn did to Earthrealm you know nothing about movies or series and you just talk *beep* if you don't know what you say than don't talk or write a comment
