I'm not a fan of there being like 1000 pokemon but to be fair they said from the beginning not all of them have been discovered and scientists have been hard at work discovering them. Ho-Oh was on the first episode of the show.

I'll agree, the first 150 pokemon are cool and all, but there were hints in the first season that their would be more than 150.
