not what it used to be?
I prefer the show when it first came out to the new episodes, it was focused on battles and the adventures of Ash but now it's seems diluted from the source material
shareriiight? like 10 years later(i'm 17),and i recently sat down to see what pokemon has become.so the title was "pokemon:galactic battles",and i though to myself "so they came from becoming a pokemon master,to....fighting other galaxies"i saw but only 10 mins.the whole time it was about ping pong...WTF?! they get rid of brock and misty,ash's balls droped,and they're teaching ping pong?? the pokemon i knew is dead,and raped.after the 10 mins i said "DONE!",and changed it.they should have kepted the first 150,not add any more,and kept brock,and misty.speaking of misty they should have a relationship of some kind I MEAN C'MON! 10 YEARS,and still no date? omg!whatever i don't care for it any more,it's just sad...it had so much potential.so i'll stfu,and stop ranting.
shareno where near what it used to be, they have tried to freshen it up by introducing Team Galactic who are some insance version of Team Rocket and Team Rocket spend their time just doing nothing for 15 minutes and in the last 5 they cram in an Ash vs Rocket battle. I gave up with it years ago when for some reason it seem to become too scared to upset anyone after several episodes and never made it to America and UK so now they play it safe with the same storyline in every one.
Ive started watching the original Japanese version and its way better!
The show is definitely different. But the games are still amazing. Gen 4 is my favorite after Gen 2. CAnt wait for the gold and silver remakes.

Yes, but the series like Transformers is very much advertising for the games it's clear they are going to show the now Pokemon due to the release of new games.
