How much was cut since the original broadcast?

Back around 2005 or so, I remember seeing Pirates of Silicon Valley on TNT/TBS on Demand and remember noticing that a couple scenes from the original airings were no longer present. One of which was right after when Steve Jobs was talking about his girlfriend and says that at least he's working on his problems, when it cuts to him in a "dark chamber" screaming, and then a door open and the doctor/psych asks him how he's feeling and he says that the anger is gone.

I had imagined then that it was a music rights issue for rebroadcast, as it is on the DVD.

However, I noticed that the clip was also edited out of last night's presentation. And, unfortunately, I was only able to watch about 30 minutes or so of the movie again last night. Did anyone else happen to catch anything further that was removed from the initial airing?

Yeah, they cut out the LSD scenes. On another thread, I read they cut it down by a total of seven minutes.

One of these days, I'm gonna need to pull out my DVD and see what is gone. I would love to have the movie on Blu-Ray now that I've seen the higher def version.

I'm hoping for a Special Edition Blu-Ray with new interviews with the cast and any of the "real" people who would consent.

Well, Sony is inking out a deal to make a movie based after the official Steve Jobs book that he commissioned... so maybe when that comes out we can get something.
