Missed it, dammit! I searched for it last night, KNOWING they would dust it off and didn't see it.

I watched it when it originally aired. Did anyone notice they edited out the scenes depicting Job's drug use? I remember seeing those in the original airings back in 99, but they are absent from last night's broadcast.
I am trying to figure out what else they left out.

I just finished editing the commercials out of the new airing and it is about 7 minutes shorter than the original version. I guess I'll keep my old VHS dub after all.
shareI didn't catch the TNT airing, but it just so happens that I purchased the DVD either when Jobs retired or when he passed away a few weeks later. I'm just watching it now (taking a break to cook dinner) and it does show Jobs taking an acid trip, after trying to convince Wozniak and his girlfriend to do the same. So at least the DVD may not have been trimmed- it is 1 hr. 37 min.
I loved this when it first aired, but as I recall, it ended rather abruptly. I think it was because they had gotten up to the present time but they didn't have a graceful way to end it. I look forward to seeing if I'll still have that impression now, knowing what happened in the next 12 years :-)
