LSD Scene

Hilarious. The camera effects. The dialogue- something to the effect of "I can feel the wind through my hair!" Laugh out loud.
I've never taken LSD, but I hope that the experience wouldn't be this naff.

"You get tired of your own obsessions, the betrayals, the voyeurism, the twisted sexuality"

hallucinogenic drugs (mushrooms, LSD, etc.) are _NOTHING_ like that scene suggests.

Salvia (perfectly legal in both the United States in Canada), on the other hand...is. And in fact is way crazier.

Bump.

reply

Salvia??? I do hope thats sarcasm.

I remember this scene, but it was removed from the rebroadcast of the movie last night on TNT, which makes sense since this was in response to Job's death.

I remember that night it was rebroadcast....I was working and on a break, it was on the TV and I remember thinking, "That's odd....why would TNT air this again after twelve years.....OH, CRAP!!!".

Ugh, I absolutely hate when people go on there saying LSD trips are nothing like depicted in movies. LSD trips affect everyone differently. Just because YOU never experienced such visuals, doesn't mean others don't. It really depends on the persons mind.

Well. It's practically impossible to put an LSD experience in an video+audio only medium. And even if one would only put the visual aspect of it, it wouldn't look nearly as profound as the experience usually is.

The best representation of the visual effects I have found so far on the internet is this one: http://www.reddit.com/r/Drugs/comments/1ddamy/ive_painted_my_first_real_lsd_visuals_with/

Anyway. The is just no way that any LSD experience is like the Pirates of Silicon Valley scene. No matter how visual a trip might be, it will never be like that - for any person. The director seems to think acid is like dreaming while awake and it's not at all like that.
