Why no digital version available for purchase?

I'd really like to own this, and there are digital versions available for rent (such as VUDU), but none for sale.

Anybody know what is happening here?

The DVD is available on Amazon. I've bought it. No extras but it's a great movie to own.

Right, I own a DVD copy.

I'm wondering why there is no digital copy available to own, despite digital rentals being available.

I wish they would release it on Blu Ray. One of the smaller companies like Mill Creek could probably do it
