It wasn't until just recently i realized it.
I mean but the way she acts, her personality and everything. she even has her hair covering one eye. and anyone remember the episode where she wanted to have all her clothes dyed black?

Really? I never got that I'm still not real sure what emo is anyways. I asked some of my friends and I think it has to do with something like gothic "wannabe" sort of thing?

shareComing from someone who knows emos, I don't think Debbie was emo. She dressed more grunge than anything. Remember, this was made in the 90s when grunge was popular, that would explain the unbuttoned plad shirt, ripped jeans, and hair that looked messy. As for her attitude, she was a teenager who probably missed her friends. I think she just wanted to be a normal teenager who went to high school and hung out with friends. Not one who traveled around the world in an RV with her whole family and a bunch of animals.
