I'm looking for all of the episodes of "the adventures os Robinson Crusoe" (the black and white version as shown by the bbc), can any body out there help? or point me in the right direction please.

shareThe series has been out for some time on a proper Region 2 DVD release by Network; it's currently available on Amazon.co.uk for about £8. Extras include an interview with Robert Hoffmann and a picture gallery.

Yep it is..I was actually the original seller that allowed people to do their own copies,the reason why is that when the series was lost by the bbc the master tapes were discovered in a french vault,by luck my friend worked there and knew i loved the series so he took copies on dvd and sent to me many years ago,shortly after the french in their wisdon deleted the tape and so it was lost forever ... but he he .. i had it.

shareno. i don't even own it. i was joking that people always make posts about films which are out on dvd and they just haven't looked for more than 5 seconds obviously. It would be like if i posted on the Boys from the Blackstuff board and went 'i wish this was on dvd i'll pay someone if they can send me a bootleg, i need this so bad' when it's ridiculously cheap to buy on pretty much every major website.
anyway back sort of OT
Network are a good dvd company generally so it's ashame their dvd of this series is unrestored, actually it makes no sense.
