Did anyone cry?

At any points of the movie.

I cried at the end

when

Cole and Malcom say goodbye to each other and they're both like, "I'll see you tomorrow", but you know that they won't. It's so sad in a way because Cole has helped Malcolm and Malcolm has helped Cole both so much. Then you know Malcolm has to pass eventually. Then I cry really hard at the end when he tells his wife that he loves her and fades to white.

Heath Ledger Come Back,
This isn't funny, at all.

Every single time. If you're like me and in a happy relationship, I don't see how the end of the movie wouldn't make you cry. Every time I see the wedding footage and the way Malcolm says goodbye to his wife, the waterworks go.

There are so many emotional scenes in this movie.

I always tear up periodically because I feel so bad for both Cole and his mother. 1) I start to tear up when Cole sees that ghost wandering around and hugs his mom, and she's like "why won't you tell me what's wrong?" 2) And then again with the dad watching that horrible videotape, 3) when Cole tells his mother his secret and 4) when Malcolm discovers what's going on.

-Who is it?
-It's Grandpa. And it sounds like he's gotten into the horseradish again.

Having just rewatched this movie at age 30, I think the themes of the film hit me harder than when I was younger. I cried MULTIPLE times.

I cried:
-Just after Cole sees the female ghost in the kitchen and runs into his red tent where he proceeds to cry and hyperventilate from pure terror. Osment's acting is outstanding and brought me to tears.

-When Cole asks his mom if he can sleep with her in her bed, and she proceeds to hug him and then notices him shaking, then breaks down crying and begs him to tell her what's wrong.

-The car scene where Cole gives his mom the message from his grandmother. Again, absolutely amazing acting from Osment and Collette.

-The final scene where Malcom speaks to his wife as she's asleep, and tells her "You were never second. Ever. I love you" just before his spirit finally is freed.
