How many times did Elrond tell Arwen prior to the final battle she was going to miss the last ship to the undying lands and then at the very end of ROTK there was an actual last ship to the undying lands?

Elves are never jn a hurry.

They could easily spend several years getting to the port and then hanging around doing nothing, before actually debarkng in The Last Ship.
