being the distributer. No Disney on the package.
Did Disney release this in the USA?
Or is it a sick Lynch joke at the start?

Well I believe it was released by Miramax, who has been owned by Disney since 1993. Miramax has long worked with Alliance in Canada (where I saw it) for theatre distribution; that's their arrangement.
shareJust watched it in the UK and it said Disney. Though not sure why a Disney film would also need funding from Channel+ and Film 4. Must just be distribution, picked it up after it had been made.
