Fascinating slice of Americana
I watched this in a cinema that no longer exists in Jeruasalem. Even though I thought it was too long, I was amazed by the lenght of it and the fact that small towns still exist in the States, and that people live, work, and die there. I wasn't bored of it at all, and the cool effect of this movie's mood had me near-hypnotized. Though I prefer to live in the suburbs, small towns somewhat fascinate me in some way. The cast did a great job, and it was good to see Everett McGill one last time before he seemingly retired from the film business. Good luck to you, daddy.
