I watched very closely to determine what was on the lower jaw of one of the twins who repaired the riding mower. I give up. Does anybody have an answer to this strange chin apparatus?

As far as I can tell, it's simply two crossed pieces of plaster holding a cotton wool.

Yeah, it does look something like that. Nobody in the film seems to even notice anything. So, I still wonder, what was it for?

I figured it was just a plaster.
Kinda influenced my thinking when Alvin asked how much of the time was working and how much was fighting..
