What happened to the scout in Straight's WWII story told at the bar?
Did Straight accidentally shoot him or did the guy kill himself?
I assume it's the former but wasn't quite sure.
Straight shot him - I'm not sure if that was the first time he'd told the story, but certainly none of his comrades at the time knew.
