He praises Adam Sandler. Do I have to say more?

Just saw this movie. Loved it.

The original poster's statements were childish, but why did you feel the need to attack the "cool" and "surreal" works of Lynch? They're just as good as The Straight Story, and this is, in my opinion, one of his best films.

I think we can judge from your subject line that you were never likely to get this film!

I guess you like car chases, booze & frat humor stuff? A brilliant, humorous movie featuring a runaway tractor piloted by an old geezer- not your style at all.

You might have guessed if you had read the box, checked out the trailer, or maybe asked an adult....

First, I'll speak partially in his defense. This was an awesome movie, but why are you telling him to stick to Lynch's surreal films? There's little to suggest that he's even a Lynch fan.
Now, I continue: Anyone who thinks this is the "worst movie" ever has obviously not seen anything by Friedberg and Seltzer, Michael Bay, etc. While I can see how someone might not like it, how can anyone say it's the worst movie of all time?

What's wrong with a Michael Bay film? "The Rock" was a terrific entry in its genre. One doesn't have to condemn popular entertainment or Adam Sandler or "American Pie" to enjoy something like "Eraserhead" or like "The Shining." I haven't yet seen "The Straight Story," but I'd like to think, if I watch it and hate it, and love "Billy Madison," I'm not mentally disinclined.

Movies might seem better once you've discovered how to turn off your caps lock.

Sux, awesome, sux, awesome, sux, awesome and so on ad infinitum. There is not much in between those polar opposites for some people.

I hope he has bought a new keyboard since 2008.

then you're as blind as Stevie Wonder...this movie is an unheralded classic...go back to watching whatever it is you think is entertainment (reruns of Oprah and Jerry Springer probably)
