Fred. Daphne, and Velma all went out and got real jobs. Daphne reunited with Shaggy and Dogs still with her reporter job. Through the New Mysteries and 13 Ghosts (where Daphne probably got the idea to take her reporter job the next step forward)
Freddy became a writer, but he and Daphne must have rekindled after whatever Shaggy and Daphne had going on in 13 Ghosts, and became the producer and crew for Daphne's show
Velma worked at NASA and then must have retired and opened up the book shop
Shaggy and scooby basically bounced from job to job ever since Scrappy showed up. So that part probably still happened without him around until this point in Zombie Island.
