My review
The best things about this film is the action sequences. There are some cool fight scenes that are very well done. The problem is that the rest of the film doesn't measure up. The story isn't that interesting. The characters are alright, but not really memorable. I had a hard time investing in them. I also felt that Jet Li and Aaliyah didn't have enough chemistry to make the romance really work. I didn't hate the film. It wasn't terrible, but it could have been a lot better and I don't think I would ever watch it again. My rating is a 6/10.
