Unedited version of the soundtrack.

I know I'm talking about a soundtrack album to an almost 9 year old movie, but I was just wondering if anybody ever got the unedited version of the soundtrack. Seems to me it's a rather rare find, because for some reason when this movie came out, Blackground released the soundtrack but it was edited, all the rap songs that had cursing were censored. Nothing wrong with edited versions, but why on earth would anyone release a soundtrack to a movie and be edited and wait months later to release the uncut version of the album? I read that there was a time gap between the original release and the release of the uncensored version of the soundtrack. I am sure it still does exist, but by today's standards, it's REALLY hard to get your hands on it. I do remember listening to samples on CDNOW back when that website was still its own entity, so it's not like the unedited version is a myth. Anybody ever see or get their hands on the unedited version of the soundtrack?
