It's been a while since I watched this movie but I think DMX's appearance was over promoted. During commercials they used him as if he was a main supporting character but if I recall he only had one scene in the movie in which he died. His character had no importance to the film. In The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, they didn't even promote Bow Wow as much and his role was waay more important than DMX's.

shareYeah, I agree. They did over-promote him in the sense that made him look like if he was going to be one of the main characters and his role sucked. Yes, he is a good rapper and everything, but it sucks when the people give you big hopes and then the outcome is not what you expect it.
shareA good rapper lol. His *beep* was all the same. He was cookiecutter. He couldnt freestyle at all. They showed him trying to freestyle one time with a bunch of other rappers (good ones) and they were joking on him and saying how horrible he was. His stuff was all the same (even the beats). He was a joke and still is.
I just think its sad. He could have remained wealthy until death. All the money he made from music and movies. Now, he is just washed up.

i remember women screaming in the theater when his character got killed.. I had to fight back a laugh, it was so trippy.. DMX did have a huge fan base back then, it was like Ice Cube's first couple of films in the early 90s, people were hanging on his every word..
