they didn't even kiss
dya think that if one of them was white there would have been a kiss?
sharewhy do they have to kiss? if every movie had people kissing then it would be very boring. if you want kissing scenes then dont watch action movies.

Could be race? A chinese man and a black woman kissing? Today people still haven't become to interracial couples.

IN Harold and Kumar John Cho got to make out with Paula Graces. Lou Diamond Phillips is Asian, he gets the girl in some of his movies. Keanu is 1/4 Asian. Jason Scott Lee did a love scene in Dragon:Th

If someone like, lets say Matt Damon played Jet Lis role - they would have kissed, had sex, got married and had 5 kids by the end of the movie.
Jet Li never really kisses anyone it seems like most of the women in his movies are just friends.
"Ah, Snaps!"
Whether they did kiss or not in the movie is irrelevant. The movie has been released in theatres and is on DVD now. My question is if there was such a scene why wasn't it included on the DVD under deleted scenes???

Global Warming, it's a personal decision innit? - Nigel Tufnel
Actually they did do that scene, but they cut it because it didn't look good that he was too old, and it didn't look right.
Well, I don't exactly agree with their reasoning either, I was simply stating what I heard at that time. Honestly, I'm not sure how accurate this info really is but I do remember it was something to do with appearance.
And yeah, how disturbing is it that they make Sean Connery have his way with beautiful young actresses but not a thirty-year old asian martial artist? Yet, Jackie Chan is much more older, yet he had a kissing scene with Roselyn Sanchez in Rush Hour 2. I don't know...

I agree, Asian men have been relegated to the bottom of the list when it comes to sexuality. I find this amazing when you consider how many people live in China! If Asian brothers were so unsexy, how have they managed to produce over 3 billion people? Racism is deep.......
shareWell Troy and Gabriella didn't kiss in the first HSM either and I'm sure there are other movies were there is no kiss but just emotions

Cutting out the kissing scene did not have anything to do with Jet Li's race.
It was just inappropriate to include one after a death scene.
There is a movie coming out "Akira's Hip Hop Shop". It prolly will be indie.

I realize that this post is super old, but I'll answer it anyway:
The show Flashforward has John Cho and Gabrielle Union as love interests. I think they're engaged or something.
I didn't really like the show since, despite its interesting premise, it fell apart very quickly and the main character wasn't particularly likable.
The Walking Dead has the Glenn-Maggie thing, which I was actually very surprised that they didn't whitewash.
Han & the ex-Mossad Israeli chick have a background romance going on in the F&F movies.
Lisa needs braces. Dental Plan!
Pyle! Shazaam!
Can't sleep. Clown'll eat me.
Cinderella (with Brandy).
shareThere was an old TV movie with Melissa Gilbert where I think she went to Asia and had an affair with an Asian man. It had something to do with a war in that area at the time, if I remember right.

shareJohn Cho and Gabrielle Union.
shareNo kissing scene in Body of Lies too.
shareI never seen Jet Li kiss in any of his movies. My mom has those martial arts movie he was in with nothing but Asian and I never seen him kiss the leading Asian lady. I wish in Romeo Must Die and kiss between Aaliyah and Jet would have happened he do look like a shy person.
shareJet Li said it wasn't a racial thing. He said that they filmed it both ways: kiss and no kiss. But Jet felt it would be strange for him to kiss Trish right after his father killed himself. So they went with no kiss. Maybe he's lying. I've heard another story that a mostly black test audience didn't like the original kiss ending but I can't find any proof of that.
George Carlin: It's all bullsh-t and it's bad for ya.
I remember Aaliyah herself said she was a bit disappointed there wasn't a kissing scene
