Anyone know anything about that amazing house in LA that's Peter Fonda's in this film? It looks familiar, like it's actually a very famous person's place, or was created by a famous incredible architect. Well, obviously it was! It's awesome! I haven't been to L.A. , but there are dozens of houses perched on the hill-sides... (for examples check out "Google Earth" just south of The San Fernando Valley and zoom in)

Don't know directly but just saw movie and I recognized the house instantly from magazine ads. Particularly the protruding length of the pool on the cliff overlooking the canyon and view to the ocean. There's another house that's all white in a 1950's modern style that is also one of the most photographed houses and it escapes me at this time. That is georgeous house and excellent use of the site.
