This is definitely a fantastic film - well acted (Forest Whitaker did an excellent job as Ghost Dog), directed, and with a fine, sublime pace.

It's obvious, reading the forums, that some folks do not understand this movie. That's to be expected: everyone is not going to enjoy this sort of film; it isn't for shallow minds that cannot grasp its nuances. But for anyone who enjoys an intelligently made movie, this you should dig this flick.

i agree with that. I really liked Forest Whitaker in this movie. I don't think I ever saw him that good in other movies.

yeah im not a forest whitaker fan at all. he was decent in this but didnt exactly grab my attention with his acting skills

He is a good actor I believe. His acting is detached. My guess is that Jim Jarmusch asked him to act in this way. That's my guess.

This movie was pretty awesome great soundtrack (RZA should be scoring a lot more films IMO) Forest Whitaker was great as the lead and of course it's just another fine example of a Jim Jarmusch film well worth the watch.
