Actually only about half of them rated it 1. The 'weighted average' is 1, but that's just because all the other votes were excluded, because they didn't fit the normal bell curve.
Ironically these are excluded to remove extreme voters :)

Since "1" is the lowest vote possible, that means there's nothing UNDER "1' which means there's also nothing OVER "1."

Hmmm, maybe you're onto something. This could be my new metric for choosing viewing material. (The thing the teenage girls hate MUST be good!)

I was well below the age of 18 when I saw this particular piece of awesomeness. In fact, I was 11. Do you kids not realize this thing came out way before that twilight tripe? An 18 year old female couldn't have seen this masterpiece when it was first released and compare it to twilight...that *beep* didn't surface until the mid 2000's. StarWars, Scarface, natural born killers and spaceballs were my favorite *beep* as a kid...not every female, under 18 or otherwise, enjoys the random crap slung at us under the guise of entertainment. Dur.

Well sorry dear, I'd love the be the one exception. I watched this movie when I was 14 and really admired this movie. It's not only the genius soundtracks than enhance this movie but also the feeling it brings with it. Now I'm 18 watched it again yesterday, and I will not comparis it Twilight that's just nonsence. The only movie this could me comparised with is Kill Bill, and dont let me decide which one is better. So neither age nor gender got anything to do with liking movies like this. It's just the way you grown up with movies, that make you consider watching this movie over and over again.
shareSorry to disappoint you,master,but I myself watched this film for the first time when I was 11 or 12 years old and now in my twenties I still consider this as being my personal favourite.Maybe it's because my childhood-inducted love for hiphop or my passion for the japanese culture,I don't know,you name it.Did I mention I'm a girl?Oh and rated this film a 10?Peace.
