I think they're appropriate for a big guy with long legs - if they were the same proportions as Doug's he'd look ridiculous. Thinking about it, doesn't Doug sometimes wear long trousers at work? I don't think I've ever seen Deacon in long trousers.

Yes, I am pretty sure that I have seen both guys -- Doug and Deacon -- in long trousers while working at IPS.

They work around the New York area. They have real winters there. They would have to wear long pants for several months every year.
