I think Michael J. Fox's performance as Stuart and Nathan Lane's as Snowbell are prime reasons that AMPAS should recognize voiceover performances with Oscars. Both actors were fantastic at putting such heart and soul (and humor) in their characters!

Sorry so late with reply, but it's my first time here. "Stuart" was just on our local tv channel ~ a wonderful, family movie. :)
Their performances were good, but I wouldn't say they're the prime reasons. There are plenty of better examples. But yeah, there should be such a category. Or at least they should make them elegible for the normal acting awards (like the BAFTAs did).
