You know - I just thought of something - the *real* Smokey Robinson never did much for me, either, so why should I expect the actor playing him to be hot to me? I mean - Smokey did sing the hell out of some love songs, but physically, he never did much for me.

Well, that's a heck of an accusation! I did watch the video, and he does look like him, but how can you be so sure that it is really the same person? I know actors change their names all the time, but are you sure you're not just assuming this is this ACTOR'S real name? Please explain.

I would send comment 2 OP but since they posted over 3 yrs ago ~ wasn't sure if they were still even interested in this thread. Ironically after reading other ppl's post I almost thought that it was Mel Jackson who played Smokey but he actually played another character. Luckily Erik looked exactly like Smokey and did a wonderful job.
