'Where the hell is Ruffin'?!

The scene with The Temptations all set to perform at the Copacabana had some funny & tense moments, with the tensiveness coming from Shelly Berger's own words above in the scene where David Ruffin is destined to not show up (he finally does, albeit late). Then Flynn shows up with a bombshell stating "I am David's manager". Flynn further states to the group "Y'all go on as 'David Ruffin & The Temptations', he's right here" (which of course didn't sit well with the rest of the group). All of Flynn's scenes were quite funny, especially the scenes with him & David! Before Flynn leaves the Copa's kitchen area he gleefully gets in a parting shot: "So is that a no?". Arrogantly funny!

Flynn (in David's apartment with the two of them snorting coke): "I'ma leave you boys a little sunshine!".
Melvin & Otis: "Yeah, well why don't you take that little sunshine along with you?".

As David said to Melvin & Otis in the same scene: "Hey fellas, lighten up, youse too uptight!". Leon's David Ruffin had some poignantly funny moments in this movie as well!
