Is Christian Payton deceased? My husband said that he was killed during a robbery attempt a few years ago but imdb does not mention anything about him being dead. Ironically, his last appearance was a few years ago and I haven't seen him in anything recently that proves that those allegations are false.

he isnt dead....... he lives in chicago (my home town) and his daughter is my age and went to kenwood academy. Last time i heard he was datin a women half his age very much alive

Christian Payton helps youth mentoring programs and visits inner city schools to help kids who may be at risk. He is writing a book about his life and career.
