I hope these questions haven't been covered. If they have, sorry for the repetition.

Does anyone know the significance of Melvin's nickname Blue? I get "Corn" for Eddie, i.e., his love of cornbread. "Ruff" and "O" for Otis also make sense.

Did anyone notice in the scene when Otis and Melvin pay a visit to David's apartment his clothes match the décor?


I Also noticed something in the scene when Eddie goes to David to ask him about a reunion tour. Look very closely when they are standing together and David is looking in the mirror. There are wisps of smoke floating up. It could've been a cigarette in an ashtray. But David was never shown smoking. Did anyone else notice that?
