A Love I Can See

I wondered why this song didn't make the top of the list. It definitely had hit potential. Does anyone know if it had been re-released on a later Temps LP?

Barring greatest hits releases, and an appearance in a live medley on "Temptations Live!" (1967), it only appears on their first album, "Meet the Temptations" (1964).

Lots of good songs fall through the cracks in the pop music world. "I Want a Love I Can See" was one of them.

I think the song was very catchy and had that hard hitting bass that a lot of Motown hits had....so I'm suprised it wasn't a bigger hit. Everytime I'm looking at their many faviorite hit's album's, I never see this song.

If you were down to your last dollar, would you buy that song or a sandwich?

"Do you even remember what you came here to find?"

I'd buy the song. The sandwich would be eaten and gone but I could listen to that song over and over!

True. Soooo true!

"Do you even remember what you came here to find?"

Completely agree. That was a great song!

I actually bought the Temps (Emperors of Soul) Box Set because of the that song and "Paradise".

There's a few other hidden gems, I've never heard until the movie or until after I purchased the Box Set. One GREAT example is the song, "Witchcraft". I'm certain that's Paul's voice on the lead. I can't understand how that song wasn't a hit either??

Oh and though it's a Later Temps Hit, "Sail Away" is in there too.

Another hard to find great song.

Wow I felt the same way! Had I been alive back then I would have bought it
