I think that Tom Jane is solid in this movie. He takes what could be perceived as an ordinary role, and manages to make it interesting IMHO. I like the part where Owens talks about dumping an old girlfriend because of her cat. The look that Victor gives him is priceless. Cracks me up every time I see it.

Personally I have found very little in any of mr. Jane's work to be considered good in any aspect. Even his 'starring' vehicle The Punisher was laughable to me. He is short and often dumb looking, and when in 'any' role,...a good actor search's for the truth, in any character,...no matter how many lines. All TJ did in this movie was annoy me. But that has been the case in all the movies I have seen him in.

Guys, watch a film he made recently called Stander. Its his best performance and a great movie too.
