Okay, if you look at both planes , you will see a big difference at the fronts of them. Kris's plane is just silver. The Plane at the end of the film had black on it that had some parts scraped off.

So it looks like Kris gave them up.

Or he came back in a bigger plane with room for everyone including a medic and police officer etc...

So no it's not proof at all he gave them up.

Watch the end again. They even comment on the fact its a different plane and how that could mean room for them or room for killers.
