The fact that Danny Boyle doesn't like this film

Is kind of a letdown, I love this film and then the director comes along and disowns it. I hate that.

I've always enjoyed this movie a lot - 8/10 for me.

Don't let it change your feelings, creators are often the least to be able to appreciate their own work. He might just be too close to it. I thought this movie was really interesting, a step away from what you usually see, and while I may be risking a beating for saying this, find it more interesting and honest than Fight Club or Trainspotting.

Boyle said in an interview he has bad memory of the shooting because he brought a large American filmcrew in a deserted paradise, which made him feel like the people he denounces in the film.

- A point in every direction is the same as no point at all.

I think this is his best. The stuffy critics with their sad and boring lives can stow it.
