Hi... I've never seen the film, but I'm told that my favorite band, The Chameleons have a song in the film. Anyone know it? Also, like the others who mentioned before, I'd appreciate any info. regarding the films release to VHS or DVD. Best!
shareI have looked for this song before in the US, but I can't find anything by the Chameleons! The song is used in the title sequence in "Summer's Lease" and is quite lovely.
They still haven't put this on VHS or DVD as far as I know. I have an ancient VHS home-recorded version of it. It's a really good show.
I would gladly pay to get a copy of your VHS tape of Summer's Lease. I can't believe it is not available.
shareIt is not "The Chameleons", it's a group called "Chameleon" which is really just a choral group put together by Nigel Hess, the composer. There is one CD AFAICT of "Chameleon" which has been re-released with the name "Saylon Dola", and that has the Summer's Lease theme "Carmina Valles". See Nigel Hess' homepage for details.

The DVD was released by Acorn Media several months ago, and I went out and got it. The retail price runs just under $40 U.S.
