JW was a just a retread of JP1 and FK was meh at best aside from the mansion scene at the end.

Other than killer clouds and Tia Leone's screeching, I might agree.

Something killed those guys on the boat. We didn't see any dinos, so it had to be the clouds I suppose.

Stupid scene.

Flawless logic.
Wait...maybe...it was something IN the "clouds"?? Like dinosaurs that weren't shown to us.

I think JW is a better film, but I'll agree that JP3 deserves more credit than it gets. It is a simple dino actioner and nowhere near the film that the first one is, but it at least does a fairly good job of playing that role.

It's disappointing as a sequel to one of the best films ever made, but just judged on its own as a B-movie about dinos terrorizing people, it's not bad.

I watched the first three this week - I still really enjoy this one, but it seems to be lacking the same sense of grand adventure 1&2 had, possibly because it's a good 30 minutes shorter, and it's almost entirely set on the island with shorter, punchier action sequences.
