"I also knew you were alive, I knew it!"
"...I love you. You're the love of my life. Anyways, it was good seeing you. I need to get back to my kid and husband. Take it easy."

LOL.
It would have been nice to see Chuck fight for her a bit more, he's been through hell and it was his thoughts and memories of her helping him survive.
But I guess not everything can be a fairytale ending.
Such a $hitty character. Obviously, everyone points out the time frame of getting married and having a child but that's not even that bothersome to me, just her demeanor...
She can't see him at the airplane hangar because she's just sooooo distraught, sending in her husband to go see Chuck.
Chuck says "nice house," to which she replies "it has a nice mortgage, too."
He then says "beautiful little girl," and she replies "she's a handful."
He then apologizes to HER for "leaving" her and she fcking accepts the apology!!!
Just such an ungrateful, selfish person. A person compliments you, and you get uppity thinking that you're being modest. A man's life is completely ruined, even after he returns to civilization, and he apologizes to you! Ugh.
Fck her character in this movie.
It's also possible she was purposely downplaying her circumstances out of guilt for having moved on. I know I've done the same to avoid making someone feel bad.
Oh, come on! She was told that he was *beep* dead and had to accept it! 4 *beep* years and that surprise will impact the *beep* out of you!
They didn't know how to handle each other or how to talk to each other after something like that happened.
It doesn't fit in with her proclamation that she always knew that he was alive. She was a whore.

AND her relief when he asks about the Titans. You can see she was dreading a question about her child's age or length of marriage.
shareThere was a good line.
sharefunny but in every movie i recall seeing helen hunt in she's played off putting chilly roles, and, spoiler, her new husband in the end came off as a off putting as well, they deserved each other... i must have always come into this movie after a while as it has aired over the years, because i never saw the lead off the island, spoiler, until the ending, he acts like sort of a dick at the start of the movie and you wish he would calm down, how sleazy was the guy receiving the fed ex package anyway. wow, is that natalie allen on the news that's on the television, i wouldn't even recognise her if it wasn't for the voice, she looked much hotter later in her career, cnn just replaced her with a dude, i think i'm through with that network. i find it hilarious how people think it's sad and find it very emotional when the volleyball, spoiler... i guess?... floats away, i guess at first viewing of this you guess he has snapped when he starts talking to the volleyball, and the physical pain he goes through at times there on the island is hard to watch, another thing about if you view this for the first time you might think he will throw himself off the cliff. the plot description i read to this reveals he's on the island for four years. as it wraps up, what a sad fate and movie. nice plugs.

since you turned on wild charm again,
after frozen so many days struck by sun rays,
with a painted face sucked my senses in,
workin your magic suddenly shut your teeth,
trapped me within wetness n heat,
and i missed the super flower blood moon,
since nothing outshines you.
lol she wasted no time getting married and popping out kids
share8 years later. now that you're older. do you understand that scene now?
shareShe's pretty shallow. He's actually fortunate to have dodged that bullet. Now he can meet a woman worthy of him.
