im pretty sure they filmed it in california but does any one no where? thats kinda cool out they were on that pier eating with that carnival going on i think thats how things are in cali ive never been there i was just wondering where it took place.

I know where it was filmed. Part of the movie i believed was filmed in Venice beach High School im not too sure about that one. But i know that When they are skating in the beach when hes trying to learn tha new trick, thats in venice beach. The only thing is that the ramps are no longer there. THey built a small cement part just a couple of feet from there but that part sucks compared to what was in movie. Most of that movie im guessing was filmed in Santa Monica or Venice Beach If you visit california Venice is a cool place to go,Specially on a saturday. You will get to see some crazy perfomances by the locals there. So yeah hope this helps.Venice is kind of the cooney island of california, after thats what it was bassed on.

the school is malibu high school. the skate park is in santa monica. the "carnival" thing is the santa monica pier. a majority of the other skating scenes and what not take place around santa monica and venice
