Was Dr Miles Craven the scientist a villain? And I didn't see that coming of Lawrence Rhodes (Ernie Hudson) the villain. Where there even any clues he was behind it all? And what happened to Lawrence Rhodes in the end? I forget as I haven't seen the movie in 15 yrs.

Ernie hudsons delivery of his lines throughout the film seemed to imply he was a villain, before he was revealed as one. And for the record his character was eaten by a shark. Very fun movie.

Ernie was sketchy the whole movie. Even in his first scene.
