on gametrailers they have an inetrview with the producer of RE5, and he states that do to the fan outpour for a RE2 remake, it is on capcoms to do list after RE5.
Can u imagine RE2 with ps3/xbox360 graphics better production values and script.
its most likely gonna happen before we see a RE6 as RE5 finishes off the story arc created in RE.

shareThe hunk scene is done in greater detail already. Its the opening FMV for resident evil outbreak. The game sucks but the opening is pretty amazing. It should be on youtube, look it up.
shareFrom what I hear this so called remake is going to be an on rails game exclusively for the Wii and will be very similar to the Umbrella chronicles which is very dissapointing. I was hoping for a straight remake similar to the Resident Evil game created for the gamecube.

shareThe Darkside Chronicles is based around Resident Evil 2's setting. It will no doubt have more settings than that, or I hope it does. I hope it gives us Veronica's setting as well. Kind of like what Umbrella Chronicles did [Zero, The Mansion, Nemisis, and Umbrella's HQ in Russia].
