The creepiest thing Norman said...
While Claire was drowning in the tub, Norman mentioned that he hopes her (Claire) death will bring him to closer to Caitlin. Is this suggesting he's a pedophile?

shareFirst, Caitlin was 18 or 19, so anyone being attracted to her is no pedophile.
Second, Norman meant that Caitlin's pain over losing her mom will bring her closer to her dad, which is known to happen.

except Norman is not Caitlin's biological dad. Claire was married (she mentions her first husband's death in the restaurant scene when she's getting caught up with the old friend) and then later Norman even mentions how when he met Claire, she was touring with an infant and was more than happy to give that up and be a stay-at-home mom).
Like the OP mentioned, this is to me the creepiest thing Norman said. I've always taken it to mean he hopes that yes, he can start up a sexual relationship with his step-daughter after Claire is dead. Yuck.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once. ;)
He definitely meant it in the creepiest, touchiest way possible, what a creepy creep he really turned out to be. Yikes!

He was a disgusting vile man. The title of this movie sums up his character perfectly. I think he was also jealous of how close Claire was to Caitlin.
Don't let anyone ever make you feel like you don't deserve what you want.
Funny how your signature contradicts your statement but again if she is not legally adopted and she was over 18 (or 15,16,17) in Vermont?, they can have any relationship they please.
