I'm making a list of all the "ghostly revenge" stories from the 90s and early 2000s.
(SPOILERS)
You know the type: A girl gets killed by some guy, winds up as a ghost, haunts and torments totally innocent people until THEY somehow bring the killer to justice.
Movies like Stir of Echoes, Fear Dot Com and What Lies Beneath.
Can anyone think of any others?

The Uninvited (1944) with Ray Milland BW classic writer/cold room/possession
The Changeling (1980) with George C. Scott. You'll never look at a bouncing ball the same.
The Frighteners (1996) Peter Jackson Comedy/Horror with some great effects and scary moments
The Haunting (1963 film) Not the terrible remake with Catherine Zeta Jones
Stir of Echoes (1999) with Kevin Bacon. Good Ghost story. It came out near 6th Sense and got lost in the mix.
The Eye (2002 film) Chinese not the remake. Great elevator scene

I'm surprised no one mentioned Ghost Story (1981) with Fred Astaire. Wow I was a kid when that came out and I remember being scared to death after seeing it but it is a classic.

but the part where Claire is spying on the neighbor while he eats and watches his every move..made me think of the movie Disturbia from 2007. LOL i know that movie and this movie are nothing alike but just with the whole spying on the neighbor it made me think of that :P
