What Lies Beneath is an underrated thriller and supernatural film that features stellar performances from Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer. The film is shot very much in Hitchcock fashion and has some good old fashion suspense building up for the first 85 mins. It was also really cool to see Harrison Ford in these type of roles as he gets cast against type here. While the story doesn't bring anything new to the table in regards to new formulas and plots, it thrives on the ones that generally work great for horror flicks and thrillers.
