Sokal and the tape
Does it seem odd that Sokal never bothers to see the embassy tape when it was first given to him. Rather he just has Childers court-martialed to cover his ass. I can understand his intial reaction when he first heard the news of the shooting: Why the hell did Childers shoot those people? Now the US is in political hot water! But you think when he is given the tape he would at least have his assistant pop it in the VCR and see if there was guns in the crowd and maybe at least exonerate the country of any international critism. Or evidence of wrongdoing by Childers.
