Should Marines at Libya should have engaged the rocket attacks at the embassy?

Marvel, DC or DC, Marvel, choose whatever you like. I'm outta here.

I came here for that exact reason.

Clearly the embassy should have had military protection. And yes that military presence should be been used if the embassy was threatened. Lybia is not a country. They came out of a civil war just recently.

My (educated) guess is that it was the ambassador himself that requested the embassy to be unguarded. And he paid with his own life.

Practically all the talking heads gets it wrong. It's not about Obama's foreign policy. Or whether Libya and Egypt should have foreign aid or not. It's a simple matter of having the correct security measures. Of cause an American embassy in a chaotic Muslim country just out of a civil war should have heavy military protection. It's a no-brainer.

That incident reminded me so much of this movie... There is no order from anyone on this planet I would follow that prohibited me from protecting myself or anyone under my command. I would have done exactly what Samuel L Jackson did in this movie to those people in Libya.
