shareIt would be more informative to read the replies of the 'bigoted' nature of the movie, and how things like the Embassy being attacked were unrealistic.
The saddest things is the people that wrote these things will never reflect that, not only were they completely wrong about this, they might be wrong about other things as well that led them to that initial conclusion. They will rationalize and try to defend the initial viewpoint to make it seem what happened didn't actually happen. Much like how the second amendment defends the rights of citizens to bear arms doesn't actually mean that.
When you're so steeped in ideology you rewrite reality to conform to it, you've become a dangerous person to yourself, and worse, those whose live you might affect.
The State Department left those men to die in real life.
