I guess this appeals to the armchair heroes who have never left their town/state,let alone their country. The kind of people who have no grasp on reality.

Coming from the UK, i really don't know what is the matter with America some times.

This movie is utterly absurd.

...and if a movie had been made in the 90s depicting radical muslims blowing up subway cars and a bus in London with backpack bombs that would be "utterly absurd" as well? Wake up. Radical islam is waging war against us in the west. The situation depicted in the film is plausible.

When I was in the airforce, one of the questions I was asked was whether I'd be willing to kill a 12 year old girl holding an RPG. So yeah, it's more than plausible. It's what they actually train for...
