What is your favorite scene? Mine's this one.

Childers: Yes they had weapons! You think there's a script for fighting a war wihtout pissing somebody off? Follow the rules and nobody gets hurt? Yes! Innocent people probably died! Innocent people always die! But I did not exceed my orders!
Major: There are rules colonel. And Marines are sworn to uphold them.
Childers: I was not going to stand by and watch another marine die just to live by those ******* rules!

Terminator: Hasta lavista, baby.

Vietnam scene:
Childers: Tell him that if he don't pull his men off hodges most ricky-tick this mother******* dead and he's next.

my favorite marine word "ricky-tick".

Basically when the Marines jump over the wall and open fire.

Either when Childers and Cau salute at the end or when Hodges asks Sokal: "You ever had a pissed-off marine on your as s?", to which he responds, "Is that a threat?", and Hodges says, "Oh yes."

"On the night of the fight you're going to feel a slight sting..."

the best part of the film is when Tommy Lee Jones goes to see for himself

he is suspicious

then he is harassed (rightly)

then he is outraged at the kids hospital

then he gets *beep* drunk

I liked that also but it was slow and too long, which pretty much applies to the whole film.

Yep, that’s the scene that makes producers ring up Samuel L.
Who else does that as well?
