The other Two Movies

This movie was originally part of a three-part anthology movie. Three segments. Three stories. Then the studio liked the dailies so much they decided to expand them into three independent features. Does anyone know what the other two were? I vaguely remember hearing about at least one of them. Is it "Supernova"? Is it "eXistenZ"? I'm guessing that one has yet to be released?

Update - I think it was "Soldier". I'm not sure though, but I remember reading that it was. Correct me if I'm wrong.

SPOILER DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVN'T WATCHED IMPOSTOR

I believe the other 2 stories are "Minority Report" and "A Scanner Darkly".

I'm guessing these are what you're talking about since the writer, Philip K. Dick, wrote all 3 of them and are suprizingly the same about having different identities. Minority Report had the identity 1 and 2 of Tom Cruise (a hard working agent and the killer), Identity had the 1 and 2 of Gary Sinise (Alien and Himself), and A Scanner Darkly has the plots of a cop that has 2 identities due to the drug that makes Keanu Reeves a schitzo.

Hopefully I'm right.

I dug up an old article from Cinescape, and finally discoverd what the other two movies were. "Mimic" which was the first to be expaned into a feature and "Alien Love Triangle" which never was expanded.

I don't know about you, but I think that Impostor is fantastic as a short and fails miserably as a feature. The expanded material is boring filler and the added Mekhi Phifer character is so forced, it's embarassing.

Hey, I just said the same thing on another thread and questioned what the other two movies were! Amen and thanks (in reverse order).

I'm not sure about the whole anthology, but Minority Report, and Mimic don't make a whole lot of sense, except that Minority Report was the same original author. Wouldn't this make more sense as an extension to the movie Screamers?
In fact, this movie takes place one year after Screamers ( Screamers was in 2078, Imposter 2079 ). Just a thought.

The only thing that wouldn't make since, is the connection between Screamers and Imposter. According to the movie ( I can't recall the short ) the Centurians(sp?) attacked in 2050. The Screamers didn't come to earth until 2078 when the last guy left the planet and took the doll with him.

I have not seen Screamers in a long time, and have not read the shorts ( yet ), so take what you will.
